Neon NYC!

In the Summer of 2024, I worked on marketing two drugs: Lupron and Kevzara. I wrote, revised, and rewrote a test manuscript that featured headline "The Lupron Way." This headline was ultimately selected by the client for use in print. I was ecstatic! So much so, I danced down 5th Ave beaming for thirty full minutes before running through Trader Joes to battle the other New York City summer interns for the last carton of strawberries. Other projects I helped with included research and transcribing interviews for the "True Crimes of the ER Podcast." I also worked on social media copy for Neon's Instagram, collaborating with Art Direction interns and supervisors, using Miro to co-brainstorm.

Another large portion of the internship was a pitch project for Cologuard. Interns completed this project in teams of 8-12. Our team created an immersive experience: 'Make a Splash with Cologuard.' The experience aimed to encourage patients to complete a Cologuard screening when they otherwise wouldn't.

A few short months later, I was no longer a floundering baby intern. I took one step forward and upon offer, eagerly became a Jr. Copywriter for Neon. I continued working on the podcast & same brands from the summer. Even more fun, I began to brainstorm and write headers and sub-headers for Healthcare Professional Marketing emails. I continue to work presently, and enjoy meeting with people all day long.

I've had an invaluable experience at Neon, and appreciate everything I've learned, and everyone I've learned from.
